Resort Grounds Keeper + Handyperson

The Role:

• Hands on Maintenance & Grounds Keeping of a small resort
• Daily Pool maintenance and water testing
• Responsible for opening and closing Pool area daily
• Use of garden tools to keep gardens, footpaths & grass areas maintained and safe for guests
• Use of Small power tools and Hand tools to conduct room repairs and maintenance when required
• Casual short term temporary role

Criteria:

• White card
• Minimum of 6 months experience in Grounds Keeping or Handyman (Highly desirable)
• Experience in the use of Mowers, Blowers, Pole saws and other gardening equipment
• Pool Maintenance & Water Testing experience
• Conduct Minor repairs, Cleaning and room fixture maintenance
• Able to work solo and in accordance with WHS industry obligations
• Great customer and guest interaction skills
• Valid driver’s licence
• Current National Police Clearance (Required - Less than 3 months old)
• Physically fit & Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
